AMI is a fully staffed machine tool service company with experienced Field Service Engineers located throughout the Central and Southeastern US. We respond quickly to requests for service and assist our customers in keeping machine downtime to an absolute minimum.

We also have a large inventory of machine and control parts available to support both, our customers, and AMI Field Engineers. Our Parts Team has extensive hands-on experience on the equipment that we service, and they are available to answer your questions and help you find the parts you need, quickly!

Control Retrofits from AMI are designed to save you money and update otherwise sound machine tools with state of the art CNC technology. We have successfully completed over 250 control retrofits since 1986.

At AMI, maintaining CNC metalforming equipment is the focus of our business. And, we are completely dedicated to keeping your existing machinery reliable and productive with experience that spans a wide variety of machines and brands:

Murata-Wiedemann - AMI is the leading independent service company and provider of parts and accessories for Wiedemann and Murata turret punch presses and right angle shears. In addition to providing these services since 1982, AMI completed their first CNC Retrofit of a Wiedemann turret punch press in 1986.

Amada - Since the late 1980's AMI has also provided independent field service, parts and accessories for Amada CNC punching machines. The recent addition of experienced press brake service technicians to our workforce has allowed us to expand our services to Amada CNC press brakes as well. AMI completed their first CNC Retrofit of an Amada turret punch press in 1992.

Strippit/LVD - Many of AMI's customers use Strippit as well as Amada and Murata-Wiedemann CNC punching equipment. AMI has provided service, parts and retrofit services for these machines since the early 1980's, and in 2005 we added LVD CNC Press Brakes to our service lineup.

Salvagnini - Salvagnini integrates CNC punching, shearing and bending into a sophisticated and highly productive automated fabrication system. To realize the full benefit of the Salvagnini productivity advances the equipment must be maintained in top operating condition. In 2005 AMI expanded their service offerings to include Salvagnini Fabricating Equipment.

Other Punch Presses - Throughout the years AMI has serviced many models of CNC single station & turret punch presses, including: Behrens, Danobat, Euromac, Nisshinbo, Raskin and WA Whitney brands. Our field engineers are experienced career service technicians who are able to adapt to most any situation. If we accept a service job and we are not able solve your problem with our recommendations for parts and service, we will not charge you for our time or expenses but, don't expect to see that happen very often with the Service Experts from AMI!

Other Press Brakes - Since 2004 AMI has offered Control Retrofits for CNC Press Brakes of all brands, and we added CNC Press Brake Service to our line-up in 2005. In addition to LVD Press Brakes, AMI can offer service for many models of Byler, Cincinnati, Niagra, Pacific and Wysong Press Brakes.

CNC Lasers - AMI does not currently have an in-house CNC Laser Cutting field service engineer. But, we do have working relationships with other independent service providers for servicing Mazak and other brands of CNC Laser Equipment.
